Innomedic Health Centre

1. General provisions

These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) set out the conditions for using the healthcare services provided within Innomedic Health Centre.

Under the name Innomedic Health Centre (Innomedic Egészségközpont), healthcare services are provided by Pulmo Protect Kft.

Innomedic Health Centre is not a separate legal entity, not a separate healthcare provider and not an independent controller, but the name used by Pulmo Protect Kft. to provide healthcare services.

These GTC apply to the services provided by the Provider within Innomedic Health Centre.

2. Services provided by the Provider

The Provider’s healthcare services include in particular:

  • pulmonology specialist examinations,
  • allergology examinations,
  • diagnostic examinations,
  • screening examinations and screening programmes,
  • follow-up examinations,
  • other healthcare services advertised by the Provider,
  • dietary counselling, where the given service is available,
  • participation in clinical trials according to the relevant separate conditions.

The content, fee and conditions of use of each service are determined by the Provider in the information currently available and during appointment booking.

3. Appointment booking

The services may be used on the basis of a prior appointment.

An appointment may be booked:

  • online through the Innomedic Health Centre online booking system,
  • by telephone on +36 70 248 7997.

The online booking system is provided by REMEDI, the system operated by Paper Dog (Hungary) Kft.

When booking an appointment, the patient must provide the requested personal data accurately and truthfully.

Booking an appointment creates a contractual relationship for using the service.

The patient is informed of the booked appointment and the chosen service in the booking system and at the contact details given during booking.

4. The patient’s duty to cooperate

The patient must:

  • provide personal and health data truthfully,
  • make available to the healthcare provider information that is material for care concerning their state of health, previous illnesses, treatments and medication,
  • cooperate with the treating physician and healthcare staff during care,
  • bring to the examination the necessary previous findings, discharge summaries and other relevant health documents,
  • in the case of previous imaging examinations, if they are available in digital form, also present the images,
  • present the list of currently taken medicines if necessary,
  • attend the booked appointment, or, if unable to attend, notify the Provider of the intention to cancel.

The detailed rules for preparing for the examination may also be published by the Provider in a separate information sheet.

Unless the treating physician instructs otherwise, the patient should take their usual medicines in the usual way before the examination.

5. Fee for the service

The current fees for the services are published by the Provider on the Innomedic Health Centre website and in the appointment-booking system.

The fee for the service is determined on the basis of the service used and the fee schedule in force.

If, during the examination or care, a further service becomes necessary whose fee differs from the fee of the booked service, the Provider informs the patient of this in advance where possible.

6. Cancellation, change of appointment and non-attendance

A booked appointment may be cancelled on the day before the booked appointment, during the Provider’s opening hours.

If the patient is unable to attend the booked appointment, they are asked to notify the Provider of their intention to cancel as soon as possible.

If the patient does not attend the booked appointment and has not notified the Provider of the intention to cancel in any form in advance (by telephone or email), the Provider may require payment of a contractual penalty.

The amount of the contractual penalty equals the fee of the booked Service.

If the patient has notified the Provider of the intention to cancel the booked appointment in advance by telephone or email, the contractual penalty under this section will not be charged.

7. Payment

The fee for the service may be settled after the service has been used, by the payment methods provided by the Provider.

Payment may be made in particular:

  • in cash,
  • by bank card,
  • by online bank-card payment.

It is not possible to pay the service fee in advance online.

The Elavon payment service related to online card payment is provided in Hungary by Novopayment Kft.

During online card payment, bank-card data are processed through the payment-service system. The Provider does not learn or process the full bank-card data.

The Provider issues an invoice for use of the service in accordance with the legislation in force.

8. Invoicing and health-fund reimbursement

The Provider uses an electronic invoicing service to carry out invoicing tasks.

Documents and data needed for health-fund reimbursement are provided at the patient’s request, in accordance with the rules of the given health fund and the applicable legislation.

The data-processing role of health funds and the scope of data they process are determined by each health fund’s own data-processing rules.

9. Health records and the EESZT

The Provider processes and retains health records generated during care in accordance with the applicable legislation.

Health data generated during care that must be transferred by law may be transferred to the National eHealth Infrastructure (EESZT).

The patient’s processing in the EESZT and the related rights are governed by the applicable legislation.

10. Clinical trials

The Provider may also take part in clinical trials and may provide healthcare within them.

Participation in clinical trials is governed by separate information, the study protocol, and the applicable legislation and professional rules.

The participant receives appropriate information about the conditions of participation in the clinical trial before the study begins.

11. Patients’ rights

In the course of healthcare, the Provider respects patients’ rights, in particular the right to healthcare, to human dignity, to information, to self-determination and to access to health records.

The patients’ rights representative is a staff member of the Integrated Legal Protection Service (IJSZ) and, independently of the Provider, helps patients to learn about and exercise their rights and to formulate their complaints.

12. Complaints handling

The patient may submit a complaint related to the Service or to healthcare to the Provider in person, in writing or by electronic means.

When handling complaints, the Provider proceeds in accordance with the applicable legislation.

The Provider investigates the complaint and informs the complainant in writing of the result within no more than 30 working days of receipt of the complaint.

The patients’ rights representative may provide assistance in formulating the complaint and in exercising patients’ rights.

13. Data processing

The Provider processes patients’ personal and health data in accordance with the data-protection and healthcare legislation in force.

The detailed rules of processing are set out in the Provider’s separate Privacy Notice.

The Privacy Notice includes, among other things:

  • the categories of personal and health data processed,
  • the purpose and legal basis of processing,
  • the retention period of data,
  • the details of processors and other contributors,
  • data-subject rights,
  • data-security measures,
  • processing related to the EESZT,
  • processing related to online appointment booking and payment,
  • processing related to the camera system,
  • provisions on the use of cookies.

The Provider’s Privacy Notice is available on the Innomedic Health Centre website.

14. Camera system

A camera system may operate on the Provider’s premises for security purposes.

The detailed rules of using the camera system, the purpose and legal basis of processing, the rights of data subjects and the retention period of data are set out in a separate camera privacy notice available on site.

15. Liability

The Provider provides healthcare in compliance with the applicable legislation, professional rules and professional expectations in healthcare.

The Provider is not liable for consequences arising from untrue or incomplete information given by the patient, from failure to follow medical instructions, or from failure to provide the prescribed cooperation.

In other respects, the Provider’s liability is governed by the legislation in force.

16. Emergency care

Innomedic Health Centre is not an emergency care institution.

In the event of an urgent, life-threatening or immediately treatable health condition, the patient must use the appropriate emergency care, and if necessary call the emergency number 112.

17. Use of the website

The information on the Innomedic Health Centre website is for general information and does not replace an individual medical examination, diagnosis or medical advice.

On the basis of health information on the website, the patient should not change their medicines or treatment independently.

Use of the website content and its copyright protection are governed by the legislation in force.

18. Amendment of the GTC

The Provider is entitled to amend these GTC, in particular in the event of changes in legislation, in the range of services or in the conditions of use.

The amended GTC apply to legal relationships created after they enter into force.

The GTC in force at any given time are available on the Innomedic Health Centre website.

19. Governing law

Matters not regulated in these GTC are governed by Hungarian law in force, in particular the Civil Code, healthcare legislation, and consumer-protection and data-protection provisions.

20. Entry into force

These General Terms and Conditions enter into force on 20 September 2026.
